Gotstyle the Menswear Store was established in 2005 by Melissa Austria, an industry veteran for over a decade. She got her official start in the men’s wholesale business where she earned her reputation as a brand builder and industry insider. Working with brands such as Valentino, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole has provided a well versed perspective of the Canadian retail industry and the opportunity to learn from some of the best retailers in the country. Seeing the menswear market expanding, having a passion for helping men dress better along with the belief that men need more choices when it comes to shopping, all prompted her to develop the concept of Gotstyle. Gotstyle was designed with Marc Kiryacou to help bring back that exclusive men’s club feel with modern amenities, flat screen TV’s play the latest sports or highlight fashion shows, comfortable leather chairs are located around the store to read the newspaper and our in-house DJ spins every weekend on the custom built decks. Located in a heritage building in King West, Gotstyle is a 4,000 sq foot brick and beam loft space with large windows and hardwood floors. The open layout makes it easy and comfortable for men to shop in, casual clothes open the store and moves back into a separate suit and made to measure room. As a further service to men we offer a barber shop for haircuts and hot towel shaves and an in-house tailor for quick alterations. Gotstyle is a one-stop shop lifestyle store for men, offering something for the different lifestyles a man has: casual, business and social. Our merchandise includes shoes, accessories, grooming products and more. We carry over 45 brands from International designers to up and coming local brands, in a range of sizes from small to XXL. The common thread is that everything is modern in styling to help men look their best.
