Reva is unique in the world of bridal and evening. His work is always inventive yet classic, edgy yet sophisticated, modern and stylized with a hint of vintage. Reva juxtaposes exquisite detail in his cuts, seam work, and hand embroideries against texture, color, and finally into feminine shapes echoing soft fluid bias draped gowns or architectural and sleek lines for the modern woman. Growing up in Sydney, Australia, Reva was heralded as a new and exciting designer by the Australian fashion industry at the age of 23 when his first collection of hand printed silks was introduced. By the age of 26, he had opened his first flagship salon in the prestigious “Strand” Arcade in downtown Sydney with his work being covered on a regular basis by the Australian fashion press such as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, as well as leading newspapers. After moving to London and successfully graduating from the famous St. Martins School of Art & Design, Reva’s design abilities began to flourish and he showed during London Fashion Week. Reva settled in New York City after travelling the world and established himself as one of the new innovators of the American Bridal Industry. With an evening collection for Bergdorf Goodman and a show during Bridal Fashion Week, he is truly a trendsetter in his industry. Recently, Reva has opened his bridal and evening boutique in the trendy Queen West area in downtown Toronto with the hopes of bringing his vision of bridal and evening wear to the Canadian market.
