EXPERIENCE in this industry is something I am very grateful to have. I came to Toronto in 1994 to study at Ryerson School of Fashion. After graduating I spent the next decade designing for Canada’s top retailers: Danier Leather, Roots Canada and Joe Fresh Style. In 1997 I joined Danier and my love affair with leather began. In 2000 I signed on as lead designer for Roots, and there I worked side-by-side with cofounders, Michael Budman and Don Green, two individuals who I consider as my mentors. Joining Joe Fresh Style in 2008 was an incredible opportunity to explore trends and create runway-worthy designs. Over the years, I simultaneously worked on my own label. While my career took me around the world, I found ideas in every corner. Whether it was hand-woven fabric, a skin of super soft leather or the unlikely combination of two colours - a thousand details that, when added together, made my designs come to life. Now I am finally committed 100% to building my own brand of collectable jewellery and womenswear. The spirit of the brand? A dedication to sexy femininity and natural confidence, some would even say there is a global bohemian influence. I love colour, beauty and shine. Welcome to my world.
