Dwyer Just a day before Valentine’s in 1986, Brandon Robert Dwyer was born in Barrie, Ontario. Blessed with an exceptionally creative eye, he fostered this creativity by studying Fashion Design at Fanshawe College, where he was named Student Designer of the Year in all three years, being recognized by Flare's Lisa Tant even before graduating. He began his career with retailer Garage Clothing, Group Dynamite in Montréal, QC, designing clothes for women. Shortly thereafter, Brandon was given the opportunity to appear on Canada’s Project Runway Season 2 – where he became notorious for pushing the envelope in designs and personality. With this great opportunity under his belt, Brandon launched his self-titled label Brandon R. Dwyer in April 2009. After only two collections, Brandon had received much acclaim for his designs in Flare & Elle magazines, on Juno-nominated singer Elise Estrada, in music videos, even reported on eTalk, FTV and ET Canada. Brandon wants every woman who wears his clothing to become the only woman in the room. Her elegance and sophistication are matched only by her Brandon R. Dwyer original.
